Bachelder 2 Gallon Butter Churn Salt Glazed

Salt glazed and decorated two gallon stoneware jar from C. Bachelder in Menasha, Wisconsin. It is incised "OHIO STONE MANUFACTURED BY, C. BACHELDER MENASHA WIS." highlighted with a cobalt wash in the stamp. This piece was sold in the 1996 Jeff Skou auction, lot 218.
