Zwietusch, O. Milwaukee

This antique clay beer bottle from Milwaukee is incised "O. ZWIETUSCH MILWAUKEE" in a shield with a star. There is a cobalt blue wash in the stamp. This is an 1860's beer bottle for Otto Zweitusch, who ran a soda and beer bottling operation in Milwaukee. This is one of the older bottles from his company. See the full story published on this site.
